I don’t know of any individual room units, other than the ones made by Friedrich, that are designed to do a reasonable job of ventilating the space that they are controlling. Friedrich does a better job with ventilation air to dilute the concentration.

Bravo to Friedrich for listening to the industry and developing a solution to every engineer’s nightmare when applying PTACs to living units while negotiating the ventilation requirements specified in the local mechanical codes.
