Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides support in the Operations Department assisting customers with placing orders and verifying product availability.


Desired candidates will possess:
  • Process product/spare parts orders in the order management system in an accurate and expeditious manner in order to support the company sales and profit plan.
  • Assist customers with product and spare part inquiries such as price, availability, order status, and shipment tracking information in order to provide excellent customer service.
  • Process returned goods authorizations in the order management system in order to facilitate business activities between Friedrich and external customers.
  • Research and process credit requests/SAP’s in order to facilitate business activities between Friedrich and external customers.
  • Provide timely and relevant feedback to internal and external colleagues on customer related issues.
  • Maintain departmental performance requirements related to order accuracy rate (error to order ratio, and criteria contributing to department service level goals
  • Provide informal and/or OJT training to colleagues at the direction of Customer Service Manager
  • Provide departmental colleagues with assistance and guidance on departmental responsibilities in order to maximize accuracy and efficiency of department.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • All responsibilities must be considered as high priority.

Experience & Education Requirements

Desired candidates will possess:
  • 2+ years customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Good attendance trait
